The first boy was shocked and looked down at himself. He did look puny when compared to the other boy. The first boy then thought that maybe the second boy was right indeed. Maybe he was not fit enough to climb this tall a mountain. Maybe he should go back home.
She had hesitated in the beginning. Suicide was a crazy option, and she had read and heard about it enough times to heed the warning. Besides, like everyone else in the world, she had wanted to fight back at life. But it had been months since she had seen any iota of hope in the distance. And as hope faded away a little every day, so did she.
The little woman saw no point in doing something for herself and sunk deeper into her couch, clutching tightly onto her mobile phone.
All that the bird wanted to do was fly. It wanted to fly, and it wanted to fly free.
